If there are more major repairs that need to be done or updating of appliances, heating units, flooring, and the roof, to name a few, you may not be financially able to do so.

The easiest way to avoid doing the necessary updates before selling your home is to sell the house to an investor that plans to update the house and rent it out to tenants. This is a big business these days and investors are easy to find. They are willing to give a discounted price for your home in exactly the condition it is in today with no further effort by you.
